YOGA FOR EVERYONE

What we do at Yoga Circle

Pay What You Wish Yoga SG

The project started by a group of yoga teachers who believe in more yoga for more people, Pay What You Wish Yoga SG has been offering donation-based yoga classes every Sunday afternoon at partner studios in Singapore, since 2015.

Yoga for Special Groups

There are different approaches when it comes to practicing yoga. We conduct customized yoga sessions, including adaptive yoga for amputees, chair yoga for seniors, children’s yoga and many more! Reach out to us if you work with a special group or community that would like to have a yoga class customized for them.

Trainings

To empower yoga teachers, caregivers and therapists to better serve their community, we provide courses to impart useful knowledge which are essential  when working with special groups. Courses include adaptive yoga, chair yoga, trauma-informed yoga, yoga and mental health, safety in assisting persons with disabilities and many more. (Scholarship programme coming soon!)

Fundraising Events

Join us in a variety of fundraising events to support our cause and get together with like-minded yogis!

From our volunteers
“I’ve learnt and grown so much with yoga in my life, so I’m thankful for the opportunity to share the benefits of the practice. Through Yoga Circle, I hope to bring yoga to spaces beyond fitness studios and to anyone who might be curious or interested.”

From our volunteers
“I believe that yoga is suitable and should be available for everyone, anyone who wants to practise it, but that’s not happening enough in the current day and age. I join Yoga Circle to play my part to connect and bring yoga to friends who may otherwise have limited access to yoga and it’s benefits. The following is a quote from Sarah Joy which I truly resonate with “When yoga is positioned to be accessible, inclusive and respectful of diversity and dignity of each student, it becomes a social justice catalyst.”

Jocelyn Quek
From our volunteers
“Yoga is a lot of things but I strongly believe that it is more about sharing. I’ve decided to join Yoga Circle to share my practice, my time and energy to more people.”

Claudia Marrot
From our volunteers
“Yoga Circle provides the platform and opportunities for volunteers like myself to share yoga with people who may not have the privilege to practice yoga in a studio environment. I hope to be able to give back to the community in ways I know best, in ways that I’m passionate about.”

Joanne Ang
From our volunteers
As Mahatma Gandhi said, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” As a yoga instructor, I have always wanted to make a difference in peoples’ lives and in my community. Through volunteering as a yoga teacher with Yoga Circle, I am provided with the opportunity to combine my passion of teaching yoga with the desire to offer classes to anyone and anywhere that could use a little love and light.
